Creative, enthusiastic and highly adaptable communicator, specialising in
access and countryside management, offering a unique and very complementary blend of media-friendly skills, knowledge and experience. Worked in the public, private and freelance sectors since 1990, with an emphasis on successfully promoting increased enjoyment and understanding through the media, education and information.

Fellow of the Institute of Public Rights-of-way Officers, former press officer and editor of its journal, Waymark. Extensive experience of access, National Parks and protected environments from Argentina to Australia, British Columbia to Botswana.

Repeatedly contributed to local, national and specialist print and broadcast media.

Monthly access columnist for Your Dog magazine.

Business interests
Access Advisor to the Kennel Club.

Consultant to national and local government bodies, including: Natural England, Forestry Commission, English Nature, Defra, Yorkshire Dales National Park, Local Access Forums.
