| Environmental biologist (BSc, BEd). Teacher by profession. Works in Bakewell, Derbyshire teaching science/biology to secondary school students (mainly A-level). Hobbies include climbing, mountaineering, natural history, walking, skiing and photography. Started writing articles on a casual basis for outdoor press in 1990, and started to develop a photographic library. Now has regular monthly articles in several magazines and contribute photographs to numerous publications.
