Fergal MacErlean is an outdoors writer and journalist based in central Scotland. He went freelance in 2005 after a career as a ranger and staff journalist, which included a stint as assistant editor on TGO.
He contributes to a raft of publications which includes feature writing for the national press and BBC Countryfile Magazine.
