Carl Rogers worked in marketing as a Graphic Designer and Photographer for 20 years before moving into publishing in 2003. This enabled him to achieve his ambition of making his living from walking and scrambling with his camera.
He was introduced to the mountains of Snowdonia by his parents as a child and began rock climbing at the age of 12. Since then he has walked, scrambled and climbed extensively throughout North Wales, Cumbria and the Scottish Highlands, with occasional trips to the Alps. He is married and has three children.
