| Professional editor and writer who began career as a walking holiday guide in the Lake District and progressed through holiday administration with a specialist tour operator in Penrith. Studied publishing at West Herts College before moving to the publishing division of the AA. In 2000 returned to Cumbria to co-found Outcrop Publishing Services Ltd supplying editorial, design and project management services to anyone involved in publishing information about the outdoors and travel. Now a freelance editor and writer working in all aspects of travel and the outdoors.
