| After a brief spell of biology teaching at Lancaster Royal Grammar School (1966-69), returned to my main outdoor interest as an adult education tutor in geology, in Shropshire. Free-lance as a countryside interpreter since 1980, trading as Scenesetters. Moved gradually into publishing and tourism through publication of visitor information papers. In May 2007 moved "across the Dyke", and while retaining Shropshire publishing connections am concentrating more on geology and landscape.
