Adrian Hendroff is a writer, photographer and a qualified Mountain Leader. He is a member of the Mountain Leader Training Association and the Outdoor Writers & Photographers Guild. He is also one of the few individuals to have ascended all 268 of Ireland's Vandeleur-Lynam summits over 600m.
Adrian is the author of From High Places: A Journey Through Ireland's Great Mountains (The History Press Ireland) and The Dingle, Iveragh & Beara Peninsulas: A Walking Guide (The Collins Press). He has also contributed to magazines such as TGO, Walking World Ireland, Walking Wales Magazine and Irish Mountain Log; The Irish Times Go travel supplement and Discover Ireland's Online Blog.
Adrian has climbed in Scotland, Wales, England, Romania and Iceland, along with the Alps and the Dolomites, but he considers the Irish mountains his spiritual home.
|
As a fully insured and qualified Mountain Leader, Adrian is available for guiding assignments and leading groups in Ireland and the UK in non-winter conditions. He is also an approved MI/BOS (Irish Mountain Training Board) training provider for Mountain Skills courses.
He has extensive experience of Ireland's mountains, having already done several hundreds of routes nationwide. This puts him in an ideal position for book projects, magazine contributions and commissioned work with conservation and tourism-based organisations.
Adrian has a stock image library of Ireland's high places in all of its mountains areas. The selection displayed in the Portfolios is only a subset of this larger library. He can accommodate clients in the area of Irish mountain photography: limited-edition and fine-art collections, calendars and other corporate gifts can be made available on request.
He is also available to give lectures on Ireland's mountains or From High Places at club events, corporate events, walking festivals and mountain festivals.
