Short biog
Freelance writer, PR consultant and photographer since 1991, after a career in teaching that took David to Scarborough, Cornwall, Cheshire and Gloucestershire, and time working on National Parks for the Countryside Commission, as a Government Information Officer in Leeds and at a York PR company. Yorkshire-born and now living right at its centre, he has contributed to national and local newspapers and magazines, as well as to a number of best-selling books. David has a special interest in architectural and gardening history, as well as in walking in Britain.The PR helps pay the bills! He is also Co-Chairman of Ripon Civic Society
